Nana’s Tea Room is an absolute delight — the kind of place that makes you feel instantly at home the moment you step through the door. Tucked away in beautiful Skipton, it’s everything you’d hope for in a traditional English tea room and more. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and wonderfully nostalgic, with charming décor that feels both elegant and cosy. What truly sets Nana’s apart, though, is the wonderful team who run it. The management clearly care deeply about every detail — from the presentation of the home made food to the friendly, personal service that makes each visit special. The staff are a credit to them: always smiling, attentive without ever being intrusive, and genuinely pleased to make guests feel comfortable and valued. The tea selection is excellent and the homemade cakes are divine — light, fresh, and full of flavour. The scones are among the best I’ve ever had: perfectly baked, with just the right crumble, served with generous helpings of clotted cream and jam. Whether you’re popping in for a quiet cup of tea, a catch-up with friends, or a traditional afternoon tea experience, Nana’s is the perfect spot. It’s a true Skipton treasure — one that makes you want to linger just a little longer. A huge thank you to the lovely team and management for creating such a welcoming haven. Highly recommended — I can’t wait to return!

Eight of us pre booked & came for afternoon tea. Service was very friendly & prompt, but we were never rushed. The afternoon tea was amazingly tasty & great value. I personally couldn't finish it all! 4 x quarter andwiches of varied fillings, quiche & a sausage roll on the bottom of the cake stand, the middle layer had tasty scones with cream & jam & the top layer several mini cakes. Several types of tea or coffee accompanied it. We would certainly return again if in Skipton

I visited Nana's for my niece's early birthday gift and it was lovely. Nothing was too much, i provided a helium balloon and the owners added more balloons, birthday confetti and birthday banners. She had a candle in her gigantic cupcake aswell. The helium balloon came free from the ribbon and the owner rescued, much to my niece's relief. The food was beautiful, we even had our left overs boxed up to enjoy later as we were so full. Thank you so much, we will be back ☕️🎂🍰🎈🎁🎊

I recently enquired with Dan at Nana's at Skipton for an event, and while sadly (on my side) I couldn't make it work, Dan was nothing but wonderful, communicative, friendly and so accommodating. Not to mention the tearoom being the perfect cosy venue for a tea and cake or a lovely personal event you're wanting to host. I'm in love with the decor as well!! Please support local and visit Nana's when you're in town, you won't be disappointed and I can feel a cake addiction coming on!! xxx
