Had my first experience with Helen today and I can't speak highly enough of her. Her studio is super lovely, relaxing, clean and calming from the second you walk in. I felt totally at ease and comfortable during my waxing treatments with Helen - which I was so grateful of given the intimacy of the treatments and how new they were to me. I was a new client of Helen’s and attended her salon for a Hollywood wax. Helen was friendly, knowledgeable and put me completely at ease given how intimate this procedure was. The wax was painless and she was so thorough, she talked me through the treatment and guided me to move as needed. I came out of the treatment feeling relaxed which I didn’t expect and really happy with my experience that I've already booked in my next one.
I’ve been going to Velvet for just over 10 years, every time I see Helen it’s like catching up with an old friend, she’s incredibly welcoming, friendly, professional and easy to talk to. I cannot recommend Helen enough, I’ve recommended her to friends and family who feel the same. I started off as a waxing client, Helen is very knowledgeable and invests in training so she’s always delivering the best possible services. I’ve recently started having laser hair removal - which I’ve been asking Helen to do for years! I’m so impressed by Helen’s bedside manner and knowledge, and I’ve noticed results after just one appointment!!!! I can’t recommend Helen enough and I wouldn’t go anywhere else, Helen is the best!
Helen is an accomplished beautician. Bikini wax done with minimal discomfort. Helen’s whole set up is professional from the start when booking an appointment, right through to receiving after care instructions by email immediately after the appointment. Highly recommended ⭐️
