Belvoir Lettings

I’ve used Belvoir in Skipton for many years as both a tenant and landlord. The service for both has been exceptionally good. As a tenant, they have been efficient, responsive and respectful. As a landlord, they have delivered efficient service in every case. Strongly recommend them.

We had such a great experience with Belvoir arranging our new tenancy. From the very first call, they were friendly, helpful, and made everything feel easy. They kept us updated the whole way through and answered all our questions quickly (and with a lot of patience!). They really took the time to understand what we needed as a family and found us a place that already feels like home. Moving can be stressful, but they made it a smooth, stress-free process. We’re so grateful for all their help and would happily recommend them to anyone.

Me and my partner rented a flat in Grassington through Belvoir, we found the application process very straightforward and didn’t have to wait too long to find out that we’d been accepted. Unfortunately we only stayed for agreed minimum tenancy because throughout the first nine months of living there we encountered a lot of issues with damp and leaking. In our final few months at the property we found Belvoir to be quite pushy about bringing people around for flat viewings. They pointed out a clause in our tenancy that stated they could conduct viewings in our final month of notice, but considering we were moving out weeks before our tenancy ended we thought it was reasonable to ask them to wait After we moved out it took over four weeks to get our deposit back. We initially contacted our old landlord about this issue and she told us it was Belvoir’s responsibility, but then when we contacted Belvoir they had to confirm everything with our ex landlord so ultimately we don’t know who was at fault. At the end of the day, the majority of the issues we had were with the condition of the flat and our old landlords incompetence. And though this isn’t directly Belvoir’s responsibility, unfortunately it still reflects poorly on them as they’re the ones happily letting the property knowing its condition and the issues previous tenants have had with the landlord. We would like to leave some positive feedback about Cara, who we spoke to regarding an incident with our old landlord. She was very helpful, informative and easy to speak to. We’d also like to thank Kevin, who was very quick to get our deposit released when we informed them of our issue.
