I recently took my car to C Smith Mechanics after some worrying noises, and I'm so glad I did. The team thoroughly checked it out and identified that the drive shafts needed replacing. Instead of pushing expensive parts on me, they were upfront and recommended I buy them myself to save money – total honesty! Their repair work was timely and flawless; I have zero complaints. As a bonus, they noticed my MOT had expired and arranged for it to be done that very day, so I could drive away fully legal. Experiences like this restore my faith in honest, reliable mechanics. Highly recommend!

We cannot be thankful and grateful for the service Chris has provided. Whilst away on holiday with our two children our alternator broken. Pointed in the direction of Chris who went above and beyond to help us. Chris even gave us a lift back to our accommodation and quickly fixed our vehicle as we were checking out the following morning, with two children and a car full of belongings as you can imagine could have been a very difficult situation, but due to Chris, his expertise and kind heart we were back on the road in just over an hour. We cannot thank Chris enough. We are from north Manchester and this will now be our go to garage for all our vehicles despite the distance. In addition the cost was extremely good, and despite my husband trying to pay more this was declined as they were more than happy to help us and go above and beyond. Top garage, took my car here for some rear brake discs, turns out it had a leaky shock and it was sorted the same day. Very reasonable price and Chris is a really friendly guy. Would recommend.

I was delighted when I found C Smith Ltd as my Volvo XC40’s windscreen had started to steam up on cold days, due to the defrosting motor no longer working. I needed a garage with a tester unit that detected faults on modern Volvos and wanted to avoid main dealer prices for what was likely to be a relatively long job with the high labour costs. Chris and Rebecca are a delight to work with and also very professional. I live in Warwickshire but visit the area regularly, so intend to use C Smith Ltd for all future services-first class service and extremely knowledgeable, many thanks!
