It always amazes me how the staff at the pharmacy are quite happy to carry on what is clearly personal chat for a fair while, whilst we wait for them to eventually bother to come around to the counter to assist. Pity because it is generally a really good store.

Went to the pharmacy. In store on a Tuesday morning and asked if my prescription was ready as I had ordered it on my NHS app . I was told they had not received it so could I callback tomorrow . I popped in on the Thursday morning to ask again for my medicine and I asked for a blood pressure check up as advertised in store and on line . I was told my meds weren’t there and that if I wanted a blood pressure check, I would have to go yo a chemist? Even though I was at the pharmacy’s counter , when I explained that the lady on Monday ( the pharmacist) said my meds would be here….. I was told that she’s new and she shouldn’t have told me this as they weren’t in the system …. Not very helpful or happy really as I then I had do a 20 mile round trip in an ubber to collect from my own chemist . … my meds have to be taken everyday as they are for my heart ….. Not sure what went on to be honest… either a problem with the NHS app or the pharmacy either way the staff need to possibly talk about the service they want to provide ……This experience didn’t help my blood pressure 🤣❤️

Tesco pharmacy skipton has got to be the worse pharmacy ever. You have to order your repeat prescription at least 2 weeks in advance. I don’t know why they take so long to dispense, but they do. The place is just a joke. Several times I have been in after nearly 2 weeks and the prescription is not ready, they then tell you they will get it ready for you and you have to hang around the store until it is. I have now switched to Boots in skipton. A million times better. I ordered the same prescription on the Monday and had a text the next day to say it was ready. Avoid Tesco pharmacy skipton like the plague, unless you like waiting for weeks with no medication 💊

Ordered my daughter's prescription and never received a message to confirm it was ready, so I went in to check nearly two weeks after. They claimed they just needed to make it up and kept me waiting for half an hour while they served everyone else. Absolutely disgraceful. Shame they have an infinite stream of business and don't need to rely on customer service to survive.

Today the pharmacist and other pharmacy staff provided excellent and professional support to enable me to get a repeat prescription for my 92 year old mother in law. Mum was on holiday and had a fall. Following a short stay in hospital, she was discharged to our home. She didn’t have enough of her regular meds to last until we could get carers set up back at her home. They talked me through how to enable a prescription of her regular medication through the 111 online/or phone in service and provided me with the missing meds in less than an hour. What a brilliant service. Good job team. Thank you
