I popped in here yesterday and got a hot pasty, £2.45 of the Kings currency. This was super value and was the tastiest pasty I've had for a long time. The contents were cooked to perfection whilst the outer crust was just right too. I'm only an occasional visitor to Skipton, but next time I'm there I'll definitely be visiting Craven Bakery again.
Lovely little bakery. They do the best viennese fingers, beautiful brownies and rum truffles. Today I tried a ham and cheese panini which was delicious. The staff are really nice and welcoming and it's always very quick and efficient service. I always stop in when I'm local and i always carry cash as it is cash only. The prices are extremely reasonable too. Highly recommended!
Many choices of very traditional tarts and cakes. At the gate of Yorkshire dale, it is a good sign to say" a piece of cake" before and after. 😂
Visited Skipton and popped in when I saw the Rapscallions in the shop Window...They were delicious as was the homemade quiche.
I was drawn into this bakery by the piles of delicious looking goodies on display. Bought a Rapscallion - a delicious spiced bun with raisins in it and cherries on top. Much lighter and equally delicious as a similar sounding expensive bun from a famous Yorkshire cafe chain. Friendly staff. Cash only (ATM fairly nearby).
