Super friendly and chatty staff that are more than happy to help. Lovely layout to the store and plenty of space to browse amongst others. Very helpfully organised into sections like children's books, classic literature, poetry and they even have a great section dedicated to Folio Society books. I've been very pleased with my visits here over the past month and have brought family members who are avid readers around to have a look as well. Very hard to leave without a book or two, especially when they're in such lovely condition and the shop is such a spacious and relaxed space. Very strong community feel here. Highly recommended and my new go-to bookshop now, following the sad demise of Clitheroe Books.

Visited the new store on the High Street yesterday, Lots of Books well displayed by Category and at good prices why buy new ! Nice atmosphere and friendly helpful staff . Definitely worth a visit. I bought these in great condition 80 years old .

We popped in on the 25th March whilst visiting Skipton. What a lovely bookshop! The shelves were all neat and tidy, all the books were displayed so well. I didn't catch her name, but there was a lady tidying up books in the kids section and she looked through some books with my 2 year old and was such a lovely lady. She looked through Thomas the tank engine with him and a couple of other books. Will definitely pop in again next time were up that way!

I'm astonished that this review will be the first for this superb bookshop. The staff are friendly, the stock is VERY wide-ranging and all shelving is labelled by category, so searching for a particular topic is easy. There is an extensive and increasing range of books for children and adolescents as well as shelved CDs DVDs and vinyl. Anybody who visits this shop is sure to want to go back every time they visit Skipton, and for locals it's an absolute treasure-house. Just remember to take a strong bag to carry away your finds. 5+ stars at least!

Brilliant shop with a wealth of books, covering a number of subjects, and all for cheaper than retail price. Managed to pick up some local history/interest books for next to nothing, there was also an amusing selection of officially licensed Moomin products available to buy.
