I have purchased many items from this shop over the past three years, however my opinion has now been soured after a poor experience with an online order. I had ordered a pastel blue bow tie for a wedding and when the item arrived, they had sent a standard tie, not a bow tie. The wedding was less than 48 hours away and, to be fair, the company did arrange for their excellent shop at Skipton, staffed by some really helpful and cheerful staff, who I had bought several items from over the years, to swap the ties over. The disappointment came with the company’s refusal to compensate me for my time and inconvenience in having to travel the 20 miles to and from Skipton to rectify their failure to send the correct goods out. A token gesture was offered to pay for a contribution to travel and parking, but the company clearly had no value of my time. Disappointing that a small business could not compensate fairly and retain a customer or preserve their reputation, but clearly they value profit higher than customer satisfaction.

Stumbled across Jenson Samuel whilst visiting from South London...my fiance and I weren't looking for a specific type of suit but fell in love with this Bromley Green suit and Mark D'Arcy waistcoat that James put him in. Who was brilliant by the way! Knew immediately what size my fiance was, and the suit fit perfectly! We felt no pressure to buy at the time, as we may have needed a small alteration on the length of the trousers. But James gave us all the correct measurements for each item and said to order online. Which was perfect because we got to shop around and take some time before deciding that this was the perfect suit for him! I mean just look at the happiness on his face when he tried it on! Also, George who I emailed regarding his suit was also very helpful!

Lerone is an absolute gem and a gentleman - thoughtful, articulate, intelligent and patient. He has helped me choose a number of shirts from the Skipton branch. He is a total credit to the company and, for those that have a discerning eye for fashion and great taste at good prices, he is the man to have by your side. I went back to the shop today, the 21st of August 2025, where I bought two beautiful shirts and was very helpfully advised by Samuel as to where I could have the sleeves altered, as I like short-sleeved shirts for holiday, and I bought the two fantastic (admittedly long-sleeved) shirts for that express purpose. Of course, the shirts are very reasonably priced, and whether long-sleeved or short-sleeved, represent great value and quality.

Bought a waistcoat from here recently and loved it. I ended up buying two sizes online and then returning one in store. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

Ordered a tie on Sunday and delivered on Tuesday, well packaged and a good price. Very satisfied, thanks.
