The workmanship of the fireplace was good however: 1) When going through the requirements for my new stove, I stated I wanted a bigger stove than I have now. A multi-fuel stove. I also said I would like one that I could put a whistling kettle on the top, but my main want was a bigger stove. 2) To have the fireplace redone with brick slips 3) To have the hearth cleaned and relaid. They sent me a few stoves to look at, some that were log burning only and some that were multi-fuel. Discarding the log burning only options they gave me the dimensions of other stoves - some with a cook plate, some without. There was one with a cook plate that was a little bigger than my old stove and they reassured me that it would heat the house up fine. When the stove arrived, the outer dimensions may have been bigger, but the inside dimensions are significantly smaller. This means I can’t really get the logs I already have on it with coal at the same time. In fact I would struggle to get any sized logs on. Quite disappointing as seen as I stressed to them I wanted a bigger stove, paid over £4,000 for the work and left with a product I didn’t really want. When I raised this with them, all they said was no one had ever asked for the internal dimensions before and that I had agreed to the information they had given me. So either they don’t really know the stoves they sell or they just give bare minimum information and then once its sold they don’t really care. The brick was excellent. No complaints there. It looks lovely and exactly what I wanted. The hearth, they did half a job. They kind of cleaned it but it doesn’t really look any different and the slabs are still loose. Quite disappointing from what seemed like a really genuine sales team and company. I would try elsewhere as I will be getting my stove replaced by someone else at some point. Had I had all the information rather than their sales pitch, I wouldn’t have had the stove fitted.

We have just had a stove package installed about 3weeks ago,from the first visit to the shop everything was explained by Mark what was going to happen, the surveyor duly turned up and checked everything was ok. Then on the booked day the 2 workmen arrived and worked non stop, completed the whole work in a day also a very clean job. Would certainly recommend this firm.

Popped into Bridge Home Heating and had a great chat with Mark who pointed us in the right direction for exactly what we needed. The work was carried out very promptly; fitters worked extremely hard and were very tidy. Very pleased with our fire; lovely company to deal with. Thank you.

Excellent from start to finish. Great advice on which stoves, surround and hearth worked well together. Removed the existing fireplace and replaced with an excellent slimline stove. The guys that did the job worked incredibly hard, covered the furniture with dust sheets and left the place in spotless condition. Highly recommended!
