Hotel Chocolat

I have been having an awful week, walked into Hotel Chocolate in Skipton and felt instantly happy with how christmassy it looked, the lovely staff member noticed and gave me my chocolate on the house. he really made my whole week, thank you! I hope the whole staff has a lovely weekend and a very early merry Christmas 🩵 forgot to take a picture before but here’s my after

the BEST location outside of St. Lucia for its selections, its cleanliness, its location, and its HEARTFILLED STAFF! High Points: the dark champagne truffles, the white chocolate ice cream, the chocolate whipped cream that HAS taste, not just color; the pastries, the ample clean seating space, and the location Unique Points: the staff: they welcomed me with open arms and were just as nice 10 minutes before closing as when just opening on a Monday morning.... I'd return here again and again if this were my neighborhood; the customized sleeves for the gift boxes; the maple-chili truffles. Low Points: they don't exist on tripadvisor so we can't sing their praises there, too!

Came for a hot chocolate after a cold walk. However, what a disappointment to be told they had no hot chocolate! Whip Machine broken - bizarre for a hot chocolate shop and one full of velvetisers!! Ordered 2 teas and a ‘baby cinno’ to be told they could do the baby cinno - asked for a warm milk and the young lady said under her breath- whatever! Rude! Then had to ask for milk for the tea - 2nd server was much more pleasant! Place was clean but don’t think I will be back.

Stopped in for a drink and a mooch during a recent trip to Skipton. A lovely spot with lush drinks and cake! Staff were friendly and it was kept very clean.

We popped into the Skipton branch just recently. The only male member of staff who was there at the time was an absolute star. As well as being so very helpful and knowledgeable about their produce, he was also very friendly and funny. We had such an interesting chat with him. Needless to say, we came away with a bag full of yummy chocs! 😁
