Wonderfully warm and welcoming! I absolutely love visiting Out of the Ordinary. The owners always give such a warm, friendly welcome — and they went above and beyond to make both me and my whippet feel at home. They doted on him with affection and even piled him full of doggy biscuits, which absolutely made his day! It’s such a refreshing contrast to some shops that can feel a little uninviting. The atmosphere here is relaxed, genuine, and full of character, and the selection of gifts and homeware is always beautiful. A truly lovely local gem that makes every visit feel special.

What a fantastic shop - and all-round fab shopping experience! Browsed the website before I called into the shop on Swadford St - loved the fact that I was able to spend some time looking at individual items before I went in to buy. But, by the time I arrived, was running a bit late and it was already closing time... the lovely lady in charge was kind enough to give me time to finish choosing my gifts, and was ever so lovely about it as well. Can't thank you enough and everyone was over the moon with the gifts I bought!! If you've never been, I highly recommend a visit - and I'll definitely be back again soon.Thank you :)

Brought my mum &sister in law today they loved it. My sister in law said id made her spend some money haha. I always come in when in Skipton as lovely unusual things. Also I always buy some soap.

Gifted a beautiful handmade cardigan from this shop for my daughter. When she had grown out of it ordered the next size up. I was given an approximate date of when the cardi would be ready, the cardi was ready several days early. Wonderful service, the lovely owner kept me informed, will definitely purchase again. Thank you 😀
