TOG24 Skipton

Popped in here on our way up to the Yorkshire Dales in search of some waterproof trousers for a caving trip we had booked for later in the day. The staff were amazing. They didn't have my size on the racks but after asking at the till, they went in search in the back and came back with a pair in my size. Very happy. I've never really bought from Tog24 before, but I will be from now on. Thank you! :)

I'd just like to say a big thank you to Vicky at Skipton, she is consistantly so helpful & friendly every time I visit the shop. She always does her best to sort me out with the right size & any items I might be looking for. Her dedication to customer service is both refreshing & uplifting :-)) She is a real asset to TOG24. I'd also like to mention how I love TOG24 clothes & accessories. The quality is very good & much appreciated. Unfortunately I often struggle with size 8's being too big! In the past I've had to leave so many possible purchases because the smallest size is still too big. Please consider doing Size 6's. I'm 'normally' size 8-10 so not especially small. All the coats & often jackets & fleeces are sadly just too big :-(

We were in here shopping yesterday. My wife needed help trying on a few things and getting the right sizes for clothes and shoes. The ladies working there were incredibly helpful and friendly the entire time. It's an absolute pleasure to find great staff like that, particularly when you need to try on varying sizes that aren't always out on the racks. The ladies very kindly hunted for various things we couldn't find! This was our second visit. Our first visit last year was equally as great an experience. Tog24 have some very good value outdoor clothes, and in the sales the bargains are incredible! Thanks again to the staff in Skipton, you were awesome :-)

Not good customer service. 2 assistants at till chatting with a friend. I struggled to get an item as it was so high up, when I mentioned this at the till I was told they could not put them lower down as they would drag along the floor and get dirty. It was a jacket! She suggested that I should have gone to the till and asked for help! I felt like suggesting that they should ask the customer if they needed help. My partner in the meanwhile had been looking at the jackets and tried one on but could not get his hand through the sleeve, eventually after trying a few times he asked at the till if they had another as there was a problem. At first he was told that he was not putting his hand through properly, then was told there was excess material, anyway she tried to put her hand through but couldn't. Eventually they got him a another one. I went to pay for my garment and the assistant lumped the 2 garments together and asked for £70. I said we were paying seperately and she told me that I had not communicated this effectively to her. To say I was nonplussed is an understatement. She then asked my partner 'is a 10p bag required at this stage?' He declined. It was a very strange and rather off putting experience. Certainly not friendly, efficient or welcoming. I will not return.

The staff in this shop are very helpful and polite. Tog 24 clothing is well made and durable. I always pop into this shop when in Skipton as I have picked up some exceptional bargains as I did this week. A £85 rrp coat for £30 in the sale. I have purchased many clothing items from Tog over the last 50 years and have never had need to complain about any of the items purchased. Again the staff here are very good Top quality clothing Top quality staff.
