Me and my friends had an amazing time playing badminton at this venue, for which we were provided with the equipment by the staff! They were very welcoming of us at the counter and the price is brilliant value at £10 for 55 minutes, especially on a large court that is laid out so well. The badminton net was stable and the rackets were strong, making for proper games in the clean court!
Old sports centre that needs better changing facilities and individual shower cubicles.
We attended for table tennis! £22 and even though that was £11 per hour, we went from 7:00pm up to nearly 10pm! Great venue! Great assistants and a good variety of activities. 5 a side, tennis, badminton, squash etc... I highly recommend Sandylands!
Great gym, friendly staff.
Excellent sports centre. The gym membership is the one of the cheapest in Skipton with no fixed term contract or joining fee. The equipment within the gym is very good and it is usually really quiet. The sports hall is very good with badminton usually set up. The football pitches outside are very affordable and great to do with some mates. There is plenty of parking and it’s only a 10 minute walk from the town centre.
