Skirlington Supermarket

Food ok. Waiting times very poor given the range and type of food being served. Visited at lunch time, 5 tables occupied of about 15. Ordered 3 lunches and a kids meal. Kids pizza was cremated, chips overdone. Jacket spuds too hard to cut though with cutlery supplied. Worst of it was it took around 30 minutes to arrive. We paid for 1 meal separately. That meal arrived 22 minutes after the rest. Was a jacket potato with cheese and beans (another meal was a potato so no idea how this one took nearly twice as long). Staff acknowledge "sorry for the wait" but that's all. Everyone else was finished no offer to refill brews or anything. All in all, food very average, Close to an hour from ordering for a spud is a bit ridiculous.

You can find just about anything that you want somewhere on the market all your vegetables and go to the meat van for all types of meat at good prices.

Like most camp shops it's stores the basics and quite a few extras at a slightly inflated price than the supermarkets which may in some instances be quite a distance away. Supermarkets around Skirlington and exactly in walking distance so you'll have to travel into Hornsea or Bridlington which can take over an hour to do a round trip (in Hornsea because of the traffic, depending on what time of day you go)

Very nice holiday shop and great caravan

Nice enough, expensive, but that normal for a camp shop. For some things its best to wait for the Market
