Very friendly pub, in the village where we were staying for the week. Tidy, and friendly landlady called Karen, who made us feel at home

They have delicious well kept hoppy cask ales locally made by North riding brewery...lovely clean friendly welcoming pub...

Came here for a quick drink whilst on holiday and it's such a lovely little friendly pub , really reasonable prices ,some board games to play too which my son loved , we came back the next day for more drinks and snack , the lady at the bar was so lovely too

Lovely local pub in a small village in Yorkshire. No posh food , just beer and bar snacks but with a real friendly welcoming atmosphere.

We visited twice during our break locally. The first visit we were greeted by wonderful staff and locals and made many new furry friends! Our second visit there was an act on which we found the sound too loud so we sat outside. This is where we’ve dropped a star as there is very clearly and obviously a huge wasp infestation the small shop attached had lots inside we lost count at 50. The entrance way had about a dozen but there were hundreds outside going in and out of holes in the bricks and around pipe work. Once this is sorted we will be back as the service was outstanding.
