Cave Castle Hotel

We stayed here as a surprise trip organised by my husband after a difficult year. Wow, what an amazing place. The hotel is quirky, the rooms are big, plenty of storage, beds very comfortable. The spa package was great, with access to jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, pool and the gym upstairs. Had a 50 minute treatment and the girls were so lovely, care taken to make us feel at ease and we felt amazing afterwards. The evening meal was delicious, good portions and the atmosphere felt relaxed. Breakfast was one of the best I have ever had, the selection from continental to full English was great, something for everyone, even catering for gluten free. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, we could not fault this hotel at all. Would definitely recommend and would stay again without a doubt.

A beautiful building tastefully decorated to maintain the integrity of a 300 year old plus castle. Not spoiled by a modern makeover. Very reasonably priced for the quality of accommodation and food available. No rip off bar prices either. We had an excellent meal in the Windsor restaurant and were served by two extremely pleasant and friendly young waitresses. Nothing too much trouble all done with a smile. When we arrived in our room we had a problem with our radiator, which was understandable in a building that age and size. Within 5 mins of reporting it to reception we had someone come to room and get it fixed. No fuss or mess all done quickly and professionally. Really is a lovely place to stay.

Took my partner for a birthday spa break package. We absolutely loved it. It was more than what we expected. The spa facility was amazing, especially the treatments. The food was perfectly portioned and incredibly delicious. The service/Staff were super professional, I made a couple of special requests and without any questions, they make things happen. Definition would recommend. 10/10

My wife and I got married here on the 13th of September. Could not have asked for a better venue. Great communication from Laura the wedding planner every step of the way. The day itself went incredibly smoothly, the staff taking care of everything so we didn't have to stress one jot. James the Toastmaster was amazing, announcing every step to our guests. The food and service at the wedding breakfast were fantastic. And all through the afternoon and evening the staff were attentive, making sure we were happy with the changing layout for the evening do. The grounds are beautiful for taking photos. The rooms comfortable and spacious for overnight guests. We got married in the Balmoral Suite, which has an outdoor veranda, perfect for guests to drink and mingle on throughout the evening. And the bars stay open VERY late for partygoers who wish to make the most of it. All in all, couldn't recommend Cave Castle any higher if you were planning to get married. Many thanks. Beautiful spa hotel, had an amazing night here with my fiancé. Spotlessly clean, spacious rooms, high ceilings and lovely complimentary shower gels. Proper hair dryer that worked quickly and lovely staff! The breakfast was very tasty and such variety! Big shout out to Will on reception who went above and beyond, when I needed to have an emergency meeting he contacted the cleaners to not disturb my room for an extra 30 mins free of charge-thank you Will :) my fiancé has already booked an overnight stay with his son for Dec and I’ll definitely be back. Keep up the great work all.
