Popped in for breakfast.. Excellent service and first class food... well stocked shop and pleasant staff.. I can't say anything other than well worth the visit.
Gorgeous country estate, for a lovely scenic walk. Visit here at least 4 times a week. A few different routes to take, fantastic place.
Beautiful place. Great for walking.
Lovely countryside but not sympathetically managed by the custodians. Ancient boundary markers uprooted during forestry works, barbed wire and keep out signs everywhere, and a well frequented path closed off. Admittedly the closed path is not a legal right of way but it was used for decades by locals to avoid a dangerous road walk and caused no harm to the estate. The owners could learn a lot by taking a trip to Sledmere estate.
Lot's of walking areas & is very beautiful to take it all in. Just be aware it is very up & down. Not easy for beginner walkers.
