Frickley Park – Perfect for a Sunny Stroll! ☀️🌿 After a long day at work, my husband and I decided to stretch our legs (and maybe lose a gram or two before our next foodie stop) with a walk around Frickley Park. And what a great choice it was! Plenty of open space, fresh air, and peaceful paths to soak up some much-needed Vitamin D. The park is clean, well-maintained, and perfect for a casual stroll or a mini workout if you're feeling ambitious! Bonus points: beautiful views, friendly atmosphere, and ideal for couples, families, or solo wanderers alike. #FrickleyPark #EveningWalk #VitaminDSpo t #LocalGem #NatureAndSteps

Beautiful place I believe is to protect nature but what I’ve noticed lately a big apple tree must have been 30+ years old has been cut down by the council, an amazing tree what I’m sure helped pollinators a lot when blooming, destroyed in a blink of an eye.

A great place to walk the dogs or go for a ride on your bike or horse! It's a huge area that would take a couple of hours to get round if you wanted to walk round it all. From the small car park you walk up quite a steep path right to the top of the hill. From the top you get amazing views of the surrounding countryside and villages. There's also some information plaques on the top telling you about Frickley Mine. It really is a lovely nature park and I will be back to walk the dogs again very soon.
