South Acres Dog Fields - Thirsk

Dogs had a amazing time being able to run free in a very safe environment. We were able to pull our van into the field and close the gate behind us so we were able to safely gets dogs out of the van and into the field. Water stations available with dog bowls. Places to sit down and rest. Fun equipment for dogs to enjoy. Very easy to book a slot and pay online

Fantastic facility allowing freedom for your dogs. Lots of room for them to tear about in safety. Long, unmown areas where they can have a good sniff alongside well kept mown space where they can run about to their hearts content. Fresh drinking water and poo bags available. I’d highly recommend this space. Easy to book at a reasonable price. Our dogs loved it and we will be going back.

Absolutely fantastic place to exercise your dogs, extremely safe, lots to sniffs and explore, cut pathways, shelter hut, picnic tables, fresh water. The dogs had a brilliant time running free. They especially loved the longer grass and wild meadow section to chase each other round.Will definitely be using again. Thank you for creating such a safe secure place for our dogs to run free in.

WOW!! What a fantastic field. We have used a few fields around the country, though none as great as this one. Zeus enjoyed playing in the sandpit, running in the long grass in the centre of the field and climbing to the top of the steps, being king of the castle. He just loved the freedom of running free and stretching his legs. Will definitely be using the field again and taking along some fury friends. 😃

Our dogs had a great time in the field, but I was very disappointed with the amount of dog poo left in the field. I picked up at least 8 piles, there was even a large pile in the enclosed car park. I had visited the park three days earlier and found non. Come on people have more respect.
