South Milford Surgery

I want to express my sincere thanks to the lovely lady at reception (working around 11:45am today—sorry I didn’t catch her name). She was so kind, polite, and incredibly helpful. Even though I had arrived at the wrong time for my appointment, she still took care of me and arranged an emergency slot with the doctor. Her kindness and understanding meant so much in that moment—thank you! A massive thank you also to Dr. Cooper, who found the time to see me, listened with patience, and gave me hope. She didn’t just check my symptoms—she truly cared. Today, she felt like an angel, bringing light at the end of a long tunnel. I’m so grateful for her care and for the possibility that we may finally be getting closer to the cause of my pain. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart.

Went to surgery on Friday 18th July the receptionist Sandra was so friendly and helpful I had appointment with Helen Taylor she was so nice helpful and very thorough and informative thank you Helen Taylor also rang later and spoke to Susie again so helpful all round a good experience thank you all Delphine Meakin

Absolutely appalled rang for an appointment as I have endometriosis been trying to conceive and not had any luck. Just wanted to ring for an appointment with the doctor. She booked my appointment perfectly fine then said Thank you, bye I didn’t end the phone as I was writing the appointment in my calendar and then one of the receptionist proceeded to say to the other receptionist At her age trying to convince basically looking down on me I’m actually discussed with the behaviour could tell she was older then me would think she would have more respect and responsibility then to talk about others all I wanted to do was to see if I could have them and I’m getting looked down on I’m actually Appalled with this behaviour

Got bit by a dog and it was over 25 years since I had a tetanus. Called surgery, despite having the tetanus vaccines in the fridge at the surgery (as they give people them for holidays she said), they refused to deal and sent me to Selby hospital. A 90 minute wait for them to give me a tetanus and a course of antibiotics. The hospital said nearly every patient that gets sent there via a GP practise is from South Milford or Sherburn practise. Absolute joke. Get paid for patients and off load them to Selby or Pontefract Hospital

My wife was there today and urgently needed medication. After asking for the prescription so that the medication could be picked up from the pharmacy next door, the nurse then told my wife to go and wait in the pharmacy next door. After half an hour my wife was still waiting so asked in the surgery what the delay. Turned out the nurse had sent the prescription to pharmacy2u and that she now has to wait four days. When asking if this could be updated to the local pharmacy it was simply a case of computer says no. How useless! Very unhappy wife in a lot of pain.
