Foundry street community centre is a unique and versatile place and offers an abundance of different spaces for people and user's such as myself . I use the undercroft for my baking activity which is perfect for me and has disabled access so I am able to offer my activity to everyone.
A lovely space that holds lots of different things for different ages! I also come once a month to hold our monthly Baby and Children's Bank for the community. Lovely people and always on hand to help
As one of the instructors at the longest standing Karate Club in Sowerby Bridge we need great facilities to continue being able to serve our community. Foundry street has been our home since 1980, however, with the new management team, the professionalism is second to none. The facilities are perfect for Martial Arts with an amazing sprung wooden floor and storage area for any equipment. The communications from the management team is always clear and helpful. Foundry Street is a great and versatile space for many activities and I have nothing but praise for the current management team.
I hire the large room for Cindy’s Stompers Line Dancing every Wednesday at 11am. The facilities are great and the staff are lovely and welcoming. There are also different rooms to suit different activities such as baking, languages and meetings. Nice to have a hub for the community of Sowerby Bridge. Lucinda.
Foundry Street Community Centre is a first class asset to our community in Sowerby Bridge and surrounding areas. It is easy to access at very reasonable rates. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a venue to host leisure and social activities. There's always lots going on, so it's well worth checking out for anyone looking to take part in local community activities and events too.
