Lovely local pub which also has 7 rooms to let. Very nice decor inside, clean and modern. The staff are very friendly and had a good chat with them. Wide choice of drinks plus a pool table and a slot machine. They also do food which looks amazing but didn't have any as only stopped for a drink. Randomly there were 3 ducks in a box on one table and a very nice dog. Definitely a proper local friendly pub ππ»
After reading on the website that this pub offered food, decided to have a look. Disappointed to find that no food was being served. thought we'd have a drink anyway. Wish I hadn't bothered. Poor choice of drinks, and sorry to say not very well kept. The place was pretty quiet apart from some lads playing pool. Maybe it's different at evening time, but it's not for me.
Despite the fact that the cellar was in the process of flooding the atmosphere was brilliant and the couple of pints I had before we had to go to cans and bottles due to the water level were fantastic
Lovely traditional English pub. Cosy atmosphere and friendly staff, even the local geese like them!
Cracking breakfast, had to wait a bit but it's obviously cooked to order. We will be back
