I’ve been coming to Shyhiba in Sowerby Bridge for the last 5–6 years, and it has never once disappointed. The food is consistently outstanding—full of flavour, beautifully cooked, and clearly made with care and quality ingredients. The balti garlic chilli chicken, lamb chops, and fish masala are easily my favourites. I thoroughly enjoyed every single mouthful tonight. What really sets Shyhiba apart, though, is the staff. They are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, always going out of their way to make you feel comfortable and looked after. It’s also so nice to have such a high-quality restaurant right on my doorstep. A true gem in Sowerby Bridge and easily one of my favourite places to eat. Thank you to the whole team at Shyhiba — highly recommended and already looking forward to the next visit! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Very busy Indian restaurant in Sowerby Bridge. Service was very good, the food was ok, some of the items were very spicy when we weren't expecting it (meat samosas) and the meat in the main courses was tiny pieces of chicken/lamb, not what I've seen before. Overall was ok, good value for money but not the best Indian food I've ever had
Excellent food here, and portions were so good we took some away with us to enjoy later. Staff happy to turn the spice heat down on whichever dish we chose. Cash only is a bit inconvenient, but not really a problem so long as you remember in advance.
Came for Hull for my husband’s 40th Birthday. Definitely worth the drive Food was delicious, Husband is now a Naga Curry Monster!! Nid was fantastic even sorted a birthday cake. Will definitely be back.
