Excellent hot tasty food.The gravy was lovely, thick and meaty. Pie was excellent, an proper pie not just the top.Filling was rich and tasty with decent amount of meat.
My family and I came for lunch on Christmas Day. This was our first visit to The Copper Cow and we will most certainly be back. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. The canapés on arrival were absolutely exquisite and the 3 course meal delicious and faultless. We all had a wonderful time and couldn’t have asked for any more. Thank you so much to all the staff for the amazing service, food and drinks. Highly, highly recommend.
We booked a table last minute and were genuinely impressed. The food was outstanding - highly recommend the flat iron steak and the stuffed cheese chicken breast from the specials menu. The chocolate fudge brownie sundae was rich (but no overbaringly so) and perfectly chocolatey. Best sundae I've had. What really made the night though was the service. Ollie was so friendly and made us feel totally at ease. He made sure we had everything we needed without any fuss at all. Adding to then laid back atmosphere we needed after full day renovating. We’ll definitely be back - especially to try the Sunday roast, which Ollie highly recommended!
Been here three years with the intention of visiting, we have been missing out for all that time. It was busy, mainly because of time of year I suspect but book ahead. Not the cheapest, but where is now? Food and service were exceptional. Noise levels OK, until a dog ( allowed in) decided to bark incessantly. This won't stop us going again. Lunch menus available, zero parking options.
We have been going to the Copper Cow for many years and the food is fantastic. Oli is always polite and nothing is too much trouble with him. You will not beat a friendly restaurant and if you are a steak lover you will not be disappointed.
