Very pleasant views and ample parking. Meals good very well and served within a timely manner. Yes we would go here again.
Making my second ever visit. Madge loves looking over the canal basin where multiple narrow boats are moored. A Greene King pub. We stopped for food. Pretty good. Madge liked her bangers and mash. I had a pint of their house bitter.
Went for a birthday meal, having waited over an hour for the food, we were very disappointed, chips not cooked properly on all four meals, three pies like bricks, one wrap with the smallest amount of chicken in it. Terrible food, not our first bad experience, but it will be our last.
Table 5 has the best view in the pub across the canal. Lovely inside. Ordered some pale ale which was lovely, plus some chips which had been cooked 3 or 4 times over. Lovely atmosphere. Popped back in March 2024. Busy Easter weekend. Food okay. Good selection of drinks.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The place is clean and looks good. It’s sat with great views along the canal. Comfortable chairs, good drinks. Awful food. Badly prepared. Go along but don’t eat there.
