It used to be my fave/go to Chinese place but the last couple times have been big let downs. Much smaller portions, either tasteless or bad tasting food, not always hot enough. Not sure if they've changed owners or if something else has changed. Delivery is always super quick though. Looks like I'll be looking for a different place. Such a shame it's gone downhill.

Amazing food tonight guys ! Fresh , Flavoursome & Fabulous. Friendly staff and friendly driver will be back that’s for sure! Devoured the duck and pancakes in seconds so couldn’t get a photo but it was amazing.

Had our first takeaway from here in a couple of months and was well and truly blown away. Have whacked an extra star on my review. Tried the Special with Fried onion and special fried rice with the mixed starter and it was all so good. Chips were fresh not part cooked and reheated like most places. Everything had so much flavour it was great. Only let down was the curry sauce is the very dark orange verity that we don't like and the spare ribs were like leather. Previous review below: Has become our go-to restaurant for Chinese food. Good selection of dishes, some that you don't see at similar takeaways. The service is efficient, if not the most friendly and I do find it a little rude that the person taking my order has headphones in while doing so. Always makes you wonder if they have heard the order correctly and if you ask them to repeat you get an audible sigh first. The wait isn't usually long and we always collect meaning the food is always hot. This was possibly the 6th or 7th time we had ordered there and had found the standard of food quite high. They put pineapple in a lot of dishes which we aren't used to (OK sauce for one), possibly making some of the dishes sweeter than we are used to. On this occasion, it was a bit of a letdown we said we were due a poor quality takeaway as the last few had been really good. We had Sesame chicken with chicken that was not quite hot and the sauce congealed probably as a result. The noodles were very oily and the chips tasted reheated, seems possibly they part cook and warm up to serve. The portion sizes are usually quite large (we usually share a noodle box and a dish with some rice and chips and theres usually leftovers) but on this occasion we were a little disappointed particularly with how little meat was in the noodles as this is usually not an issue. We will go back, even this is still an improvement over some of the local takeaways serving Chinese food and I'd proven particularly well in terms of hygiene and not worrying about food not causing upset stomachs later. Also, a little bit more customer service goes a long way, they have a food offer if you spend a certain amount. I was 25 pence short of this amount and hadn't realised and if someone had gone to the effort of pointing this out, I'd have happily spent another couple of quid to get my free item.

Excellent Chinese takeaway! Been going for years. We now live further away but travel about 20 mins to collect as it's a lovely treat and our new local ones don't seem to compare 🙂 Very friendly and the food is always tasty!
