The Barber Pad

I've been bringing my 3 boys now aged 3, 8 and 10 to Chris at The Barber Pad for the last 5 years, along with their Dad. We always receive a warm welcoming service. I can't recommend The barber pad enough for families. Chris is especially caring with my autistic 8 year old, we wouldn't go anywhere else.

Excellent professional, the best thing of all is the trust in the work, so I leave my son in the hands of someone who understands; he sits down and leaves with an impeccable haircut; Ali is very detailed!! I highly recommend service!

My son has been here a few times and generally receives what he wants, cut to a good standard. He can also attend on his own and it has been great for him to have that little bit of independence. However, the last two appointments have fallen short of expectations. The first poor visit, despite booking, Chris was not in the shop and his colleague completed the cut, the execution was not up to usual standard at all, but things happen and there may have been a genuine reason Chris was unavailable so we booked again. The second poor visit occurred just yesterday. Admittedly my son was running slightly late to his appointment, but if his usual fade style could not have been achieved, I would have rather rebooked than ending up taking him elsewhere to have his haircut completed. The picture shows the second haircut he left with.

Great haircut. Exactly what I asked for, done properly with attention to detail. Professional, quick, and a clean finish. Will be back again

My Partner has been going to Chris for his skin fade for many years and never had any problems, always walk away so pleased! I’ve also been using Chris since my little lad was 2 year old he’s been giving him skin fades! He’s so calm and patient especially with children. I couldn’t recommend him enough!
