Bought a lovely condition Suzuki Ignis from Stansfield Garage, which was in far better condition than was actually described. The car was in perfect order. Couldn't believe my luck. Stuart was so helpful and thoroughly genuine and honest, what a great experience.

On the 20/1/26 I purchased a blue ford fiesta, from this back street garage, the boot well had water in ,I was told by the dealer it was where the car was valeted and it would dry out,a day later we had heavy rain and the boot was full of water 💧 again, also the service history was falsified, the service history was showing six service stamps from a garage which was none existent, with a false mobile number When he was confronted this denied everything,and refused to give me my full refund, in which I am now having to contact the trading standards for false information of service history and trying to get my full refund back PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE WHEN BUYING FROM THIS BACK STREET GARAGE, CHECK AND CONTACT THE PERSON WHO PREVIOUSLY SERVICED THE VEHICLE, ALSO TAKE A PROFESSIONAL TO INSPECT THE VEHICLE, AS ONCE STUART HAS TAKEN YOUR MONEY YOU WILL HAVE TO FIGHT TO GET YOUR REFUND, BUT I AM HAVING TO FIGHT NOW THROUGH THE TRADING STANDARDS PROCESS BE AWARE,SOME OF HIS SERVICE STAMPS HAVE BEEN FALSIFIED PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU TAKE A PROFESSIONAL TO INSPECT THESE VEHICLES BEFORE PURCHASE

1st class service. Bought a corsa van from this garage it runs like a Ferrari and handles like ronaldo. Stuart the owner went out of his way to tax it for me at the local Post office etc . Would not hesitate in buying another vehicle off him in the future. Thanks very much.

What a great place to do business. We spotted a car for sale on Autotrader that fitted the job that we were looking for a car to do for our Canadian Son in law who married my daughter and has come to the UK. We contacted the garage and spoke with Stuart, the owner, who was really helpful and agreed a time to suit us to view. When we arrived, a delightful place in a lovely location where we were greeted by him. He had all the documents ready for us to inspect and gave us ample time to look round the car without hovering over us. We were then given the chance to have an accompanied test drive and without feeling pressured in any way. The little Nissan Pico was everything we had been looking for, beautiful condition, very low mileage with full stamped service history and a full service just completed. It ran like a new car without any issues to concern us. Having met Stuart and seen his spotlessly clean workshop and such a great car we were very happy to buy the car there and then. We called today to collect it, clean and polished, with much happiness. We would have no hesitation to buy another car from Stansfield Garage and Stuart. Lovely people, lovely place. I recently bought a Toyota Yaris for my daughter, from Stuart at this garage. The car was just as described in his advert and is perfect for her. Stuart ensured that the car was in first class condition, fully serviced and valeted. I was so impressed by the service I received, that I have recommended this garage to two other family members who have also bought cars from here. I was prepared to travel 40 miles to use this dealer. It is not often that you can find a garage where you feel that you are in safe hands. I would have no hesitation in returning to this garage in the future and I would thoroughly recommend it.
