Very unhelpful company My grandson had his bike take to stoney wood motor that was supposed to be safe till collection. The place was broken it to and the bike stolen. The police have blamed stoney wood and stoney wood blaming the police. Am sorry but stoney wood had full responsibility of this bike as the police called them to keep the bike safe .... This bike around 4k , now stoney wood will be taken to court over this bike and pay all legal costs plus extra for the messing about over the last 6 months .....horrible company
One night last week stonywood where delivering a broken down vehicle to a garage on my street. The driver reversed into my trailer causing damage and then tried to move forward but his truck was locked on to my trailer . As he moved forward it ran over a new 15l bucket of paint spilling its contents all over the road and damaged a ladder which was under the trailer my wife had to jump in front of his truck to stop him. I feel if he had managed to free himself he would have just delivered his broken down vehicle and left the scene without saying anything. After about half hour freeing his truck he delivered the broken down car to the garage then drove away without helping to clear up the carnage he caused which took about 2 hours. The driver got my phone number etc but so far there has been no contact from stonywood…
I broke down this evening, a big shout out to the recovery guy he was amazing, so polite, made sure I was okay and then dropped me and my car off at the garage. I would highly recommend this company.
So this afternoon I am sat on the M62 between J25 and J26 on the inside lane in heavy congested traffic. I notice in my rear view mirror one very irate and agitated Stoney wood recovery driver who proceeds to flash his lights and persist in using his horn to push and try to make me move lanes. Unfortunately there was no where to move to as all four lanes were blocked. How rude and inconsiderate. Eventually as I passed the services the driver managed to force his way past by using the adjoing lane from the services. Again loud blast from the horn and lots of gesticulation not pleasurable may I add. Traffic frees up and whilst now in lane 2 as lane 1 was blocked I have the pleasure of passing this very happy and positively customer focused employee of Stoneywood in the process of recovering a vehicle from accident which had caused the congestion. As I drive past I am again met with a volley of abuse and gesticulation. Maybe people should remember that vehicles today are equipped with front and rear dash cams.I would be very happy to discuss this in more detail with a representative of Stoneywood. I hope that the driver is proud of what he has achieved. Maybe a lesson in customer service may help this extremely talented individual develop further. What sort of image have you presented today about yourself and Stoneywood .
My friend and I broke down on the M62 at 1 in the morning today. It was an actual nightmare ( and very cold) and our breakdown cover people were so wonderfully useless. We got in touch with Stoneywood as they were a local 24 hours garage and they were ace. Adrian was lovely and helpful and Jack came to pick us up, made us a hot drink and fixed our car super quick. Very grateful we found them otherwise we may have been stuck on the motorway for life. Thanks guys x
