I'm once again blown away by this amazing bike shop and the people that run it! They've just saved me by last minute getting my bike road ready with a bunch of changes and for a really affordable price. If you don't know, this shop prioritises using secondhand quality parts (yes this is amazing!) and have an affilition with a local charity for the homeless where their profits end up. Thanks to the team there, I was more than happy to leave an extra donation. I hope to see more bike shops like this in the world but I think I'll really struggle to find it. A massive shoutout to Dietter, Jonny, Matt and of course Chester the dog. The attitude, positivity and great energy they carry with them is simply incredible. Keep doing amazing work guys, the value you bring to you community is unprecedented!

Recently bought myself a bike frame off Marketplace and took it to Happy Days where a wicked bike mechanic named Dieter built it up for me using parts that they had in store. I honestly can’t thank him and Happy Days enough! It’s easily the best bike shop I’ve been to. Besides sorting me out some top notch parts to go on the bike, the time care and dedication he has put into to building my dream bike has been phenomenal and I genuinely can’t speak highly enough of this man and this shop. Honestly, if you’re looking for a custom built bike, these guys can do it. If you’re just looking to buy a bike, they have so many in store, and if you’re looking to have your bike repaired, these guys can most definitely do that. The aftercare you get once you’ve bought your bike from them is brilliant too, I’ve come off my bike a few times and bent my deralier which has obviously messed with my gear changes and they have just sorted it out for me. The prices are great and they offer you the best advice, they’re not trying to sell you the most expensive bike in the world like other bike shops do, you won’t go far wrong here, I promise. But don’t just take my word for it though, go in and find out for yourself and you’ll see!

Came into Sowerby Bridge with a broken gear shifter, halfway through a 150 mile race. Initially thinking my ride was over, I popped in and within minutes my bike was in the stand being tinkered on. Nothing could be done about the shifter but he tensioned my derailleur so I could ride the bike single speed in a rideable gear. Absolutely lovely chap who knew exactly what to do to get me back on the road - couldn’t be more grateful. Managed to finish the rest of the race in one gear! Great selection of second hand bikes of all kinds in there too, and all towards a great cause!

Excellent friendly staff 😊. Always happy to help. A wide range of bikes are available to buy, lots of repairs done onsite. I have bought 3 bikes here. They have a tandem bike to hire. They also stock some helmets, panniers and lots of second hand bike wear. Enjoy your visit. Oh and they rely on donations, so any unused bikes are welcome 👍 enjoy your visit 😉

Hit a pothole coming down into sowerby bridge which flexed my stem, feeling like it could snap at any point while riding, i went into happy cycles and mentioned what had happened, the kind gentleman ( i cant remember his name, im terrible with them) fitted me a new one straight away, i also forgot a bit of money to take out with me and offered to do via bank transfer, but with it being only card and or cash the gentleman kindly assured me to just pay him back when im next down and told me to go enjoy my ride and opened the door for me on my way out, very pleasent and understanding, it made my day to be quite honest. Thank you happy cycles, very freindly!
