Drakes Bar Furniture

A+!! Drakes is way more than bar furniture only. I run a vehicle repairs workshop and Drakes have fitted out our reception desk area with their excellent bespoke work. It is fantastic quality, was reasonably priced and gives our office the wow factor compared with most garages. Thanks Chris, John, Neil and the team. Pictures to follow.

If it was possible to leave zero stars we would. Do not use this company, terrible quality. We ordered and paid for cast iron table bases and they delivered a cheap plastic alternatives. We also ordered and paid for solid wood countertops and we have received a cheap laminate alternatives. Neil has refused to change them and is extremely rude. Avoid!!

Avoid at all costs. Extremely disappointing is an understatement. Furniture is of the lowest quality possible and the customer service is even worse. To begin, the sales team (Neil) was provided with the specifications of the furniture to be supplied - solid oak tables, cast iron table bases, etc. The furniture that they actually supplied was all of inferior quality - MDF tables (which are already showing signs of wear after 4 months, some cheap plastic/metal table bases which where supposed to be cast iron. The venue manager has a full time job of going around each day to tighten all the nuts and bolts on each table are they keep becoming loose. The high tables are so bad and cheap quality that they would blow over if you turned on the AC. Following this disappointing realisation, I’ve been phoning Neil for the last couple of months to resolve this (to provide us with the furniture that we paid for on the spec sheet supplied and not the cheap trash that they have supplied to us) but it turns out he is possibly the most condescending person I’ve ever come across - never spoke with anyone like him. Long story short, this business (if that’s what you’d call a conning practice) is blatantly refusing to replace all the inferior furniture with the products that were supposed to be supplied. If anybody is looking for the lowest quality furniture, please reach out to me as I am dumping all this trash, but I’m sure you don’t want to bear the cost of dumping it yourself in a months time when you realise the rubbish that this “business” produce.

Great service from start to finish. Bar furniture is of good quality and the lads doing the fitting were efficient and experienced. I will be a returning customer and highly recommend to others.

What can I say, amazing work. Everything was done to a very high standard. It was a pleasure to have Claude and Chris working in our guest house. Would recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful bespoke bar. Will be using them again in the future as we’ve spotted the amazing fire place surrounds on the site. Thanks lads we love everything you did, your a credit to your company.
