Discover a different Yorkshire, where the scenery is grander, the waterways less crowded – and the beer cheaper! Our base is ideally situated for exploring all three Pennine canals.

We offer unrivalled choice and value coupled with friendly, helpful, individual service. Our skilled and committed staff offers you strength in depth. We build the boats, and maintain them to high standards. We give comprehensive training, and look after our customers.

Our 20 narrow boats are all Quality Assured by Enjoy England to make sure they are as good as you expect. Rated 3 or 4 star, they provide a good variety of accommodation layouts, from 2 to 10 berth. On many boats, extra children go free. Large boats have 2 toilets. All have central heating, microwaves and 230 volt supplies.

We offer a wide choice of routes. You can explore all three trans-Pennine canals, as well as the river navigations of Yorkshire.

• In a weekend or mid-week break, discover the Rochdale Canal, as you climb up the valley, with romantic crags, trees, stone-built villages and views of the moors.
• In a week, head for the dramatic Summit of the Rochdale, or meander down the Calder Valley towards Wakefield.
• Explore the Leeds & Liverpool canal from our base at Barnoldswick – visit Skipton, and enjoy the Yorkshire Dales.
• And then for experienced boaters we offer a range of exciting one-way trips. You can travel between Sowerby Bridge and either Barnoldswick or Ashton-under-Lyne, taking in the Leeds & Liverpool, Rochdale or Huddersfield Narrow.

We provide an unrivalled information service. Before your holiday, we send you a comprehensive Information Pack which includes a Canal & River Trust boating DVD and safety guide, as well as information on your route, what to bring and details of your boat. At the start of your holiday, we tell you all about the navigational features of your route, explain everything on the boat, and then show you how to handle the boat and do the locks. This leaves you confident and able fully to enjoy your holiday.
