This is such a lovely local park to go to. It is rarely busy and is tucked under the trees just enough for wet weather days too. The brightly coloured activities are great for little toddlers - especially mine as he's currently learning his colours! It is also safely enclosed which is essential for the little tearaways...
Allan park is a really good place to take your kids too . It’s always clean when we’ve visited . It’s always very quiet when we take the grandkids. The only thing is the moss and dirt in place makes it very slippery at times… there’s a good choice of things to play on . Should keep the kids quiet for a while .
It's really not a Park but a surgery and health advice centre but there is a Crown Green Bowling club at the rear and an entrance to a small wooded area but I cant imagine anyone visiting specially, a kiddies hidden play ground not far away that is popular with the locals.
A nice peaceful walk with the dog but the council need to maintain the footpaths steps and over hanging over growth, rather than just spending hours tending to the bowling green .
Nice bowling green but nowt emse
