Land & Sea Fish And Chips

Absolutely the best fish and chips we have ever had. Delicious hand cut chips fried in proper oil that gives the chips a fantastic flavour and crunch. The fish was cooked to perfection with no hint of undercooked batter. Gold star to the staff who welcome you with a smile and friendly service. We will definately return again.

This is my local chippy, and has been ever since Craig took over years ago. I've never had a bad serving, ever. In short, these are definitely the best fish & chips in Thirsk (Sowerby) - even won regional/national awards, so it's not just me that thinks so. If you're bothered about the whole visit experience not just the food, then you win here too. The staff are always friendly and will have a laugh with you if you're that way inclined. The whole place is clean and hygienic, - I know because if been in round the back several times both during and out of opening hours. So, if you're looking for this type of meal, don't bother trying elsewhere. Take the time to find this spot. = You will not be disappointed. (and no, they don't know I'm leaving this review, and I'm not getting paid/freebies for doing so.)

Blooming beautiful! Quick service friendly staff! And probably the best Fish and chips I’ve had in the uk let alone Yorkshire! Curry sauce and mushy peas are in a league of their own totally delicious! Portions were perfect too !

Amazing, on way back to the hotel, after doing ingleton falls, stopped for fish n chips. Boy oh boy I enjoyed them. Done in beef dripping. Really tasty.

The place was clean, staff were extremely friendly. I was greeted with a smile 🤗. The food was very good and tasty. My little one ate it all up. Great food and great service and value for money.
