Clanan Grange Campsite

Excellent value for money: basic, clean toilets and a tap in a large flat well kept field. All contact and payment done by telephone and online so we missed the personal touch. However we spent a very enjoyable 4 days being close to many beautiful national trust sites. And were entertained by the little rabbit that came out every evening.

Lovely small spot - basic but effective facilities and very well located. Nice to see the gliders about during the weekends. There is road noise, as it's near the road, but it's not too bad, even for a country bumpkin like myself.

A low cost basic amenity campsite affiliated to the Camping & Caravanning Club. Located on the edge of Sowerby, adjoining Thirsk, with countryside outlook yet conveniently close to the attractions of Thirsk and 'Herriot Country' and with an Aldi supermarket within 5 minutes walk for all your self-catering essentials. A great base for a stay in this locality and with very pleasant and obliging owners.

Very pleasant stay with great communication and easy booking , just a mile from Thirsk Town centre

Just had 2 nights here, lovely and quiet with lots of space. Also a toilet available to use, water and an elsan point, spot for the price. About 30 minutes walk to Thirsk and an Aldi approx. 6 mins walk away. We will definitely be back.
