Crescent Arts Gallery is a lively contemporary exhibition space presenting a diverse and stimulating programme of events and exhibitions. We are the only exclusively contemporary art gallery in Scarborough, showing work by local, national and international artists.

Some wonderful activities go on here. I enjoyed the weaving session run by Ruth Sprague and her daughter, Hanna. I was able to weave on a board with a wonderful selection of wool and then Ruth showed me how weave on the loom. That was amazing! Thanks both for a fantastic time, great learning and camaraderie with the other learners!
This is a hidden gem. With a wonderful collection of paintings and regular exhibitions. The only downside is the lack of upstairs access for the disabled. Come on SBC this gallery has been in this building for a least 50 years.
Thuroly enjoyed visiting crescent Arts was here through work. The rooms down stairs and the old kitchen amongst other realy old equipment was quite kewl to see. Well worth a vusit if you're in the area
Can't wait for them to reopen on the 18th!
A true independent art gallery, well worth a visit.
