A Sanctuary of the Apocalyptic: The Coastal Comfort Station Let me start by saying, if you're looking for a pristine, scented, and climate-controlled lavatory experience... keep walking. For about four miles. Because that's how far you'll have to walk to escape the inevitable need for this glorious, terrifying, five-star lavatory experience. This isn't just a public convenience; it's a post-apocalyptic survival experience. The abandoned buildings it resides in give the perfect, brooding atmosphere for a quick pit stop before your next zombie encounter (or just an invigorating coastal walk). Highlights of the Experience: • Atmosphere: A chillingly authentic "end-of-days" vibe. The lack of heating simply adds to the rugged, pioneer feel. Who needs central heating when you have the cold embrace of the coastal wind rushing through your legs? 10/10 for realism. • Wildlife Integration: Forget boring tiles—this toilet comes with a built-in ecosystem! I was lucky enough to share my moment of reflection with a few brave spiders and what appeared to be a whole family of nesting birds. It’s truly a biodiversity hotspot. • Natures gifts: Forget air fresheners; the complimentary bird droppings on the toilet paper are a unique, earthy touch. It's a reminder that we are all just a small part of the great cycle of nature. (Pro tip: use the inner layers.) • The adrenaline rush hand wash: Ah, the hot water unit. Turning it on is the first true test of your hike: a brief, heart-stopping moment of courage, testing your resolve against the genuine, palpable threat of electric shock. If you survive, you're rewarded with a small trickle of water, proving the system works! An adrenaline rush you simply won't find in a regular public loo. The Verdict Why the five stars? Because when you're four miles out on a beautiful, yet desolate, spit of land, having held it in since the last signs of human inhabitation, this dilapidated, spider-infested, bird-inhabited shell of a building isn't just a toilet—it's a miracle. It's a gritty, glorious, life-saving reminder that any port in a storm (or any bowl in a bladder emergency) is heaven. Come for the nature, stay because you literally have no other option. Highly, highly recommended for the adventurous and desperate.

Bog roll, water and soap available. Difficult choice between trap 1 or 2, you will definitely have a look at both no matter how desperate the situation. Smoking allowed if required. Very modern as they are unisex. The next nearest toilets are on a ship.
