Friday 7th March: Great place to walk to, takes around 2hrs each way taking in all the extras you can walk to see. Park at Spurn Point Visitor centre, or along the road if its safe to do so. On the way to the "point" once past the lighthouse there are lots of WW2 structures left in place. Mostly level walking, but at the start on Spurn Point you have to walk across the beach, no path. Make sure you know when the tides are, easily checked online. No facilities along the way so be prepared. Well worth the complete round trip, with the extra walks to structures and hides the route worked out just under 10k

I loved the long walk to the end of the Spurn. Took about 2hours each way. Mixture of terrain, stoney beach, soft sand and a walking trail

Excellent walk. Lots of different birds, caterpillars and other wildlife. Even had a seal come behind us on the beach. Really enjoyed the isolation. Everyone we met was happy and enjoying themselves. The lack of litter and dog poo is a pleasure.
