Have been using the excellent Stainforth Garage run by Chris, and previously by his late father Robert for around 40 years. Exceptional professional, high quality and friendly service from this great family run business over many, many decades. Cannot praise highly enough.

Needed somebody to check one of the wheel hub bearings before going on a long journey - a matter of 5 min. Rang a few garages in Settle and got turned down by every single one of them. Chris understood the urgency and fitted me in. Thanks a lot, Chris !!!

Highly recommend Stainforth Garage as honest, trustworthy, professional and great value for money. I was staying locally for a few weeks and booked my car in at short notice for a full set of brakes discs and pads. Chris checked the state of all of the components and informed me know that they did not all require changing just yet and still had some miles left in them which saved me a sizeable chunk of money. Not many places operate with such integrity :)! Thanks Chris.

Quality garage. We was travelling through on Easter weekend and we needed a little work doing on the car. They was happy to help with less then 10mins notice. Price was great and was very friendly. This garage is a family ran business and clearly have good pride in what they do. Totally recommend.

Our van broke down when we got to Stainforth, (no thanks to kwikfit and a previous garage) and we walked round to Stainforth Garage where the staff was so helpful - sorry we didn't ask his name! Immediately helped us out, diagnosed the issue and gave us advice on what work was needed but then refused any payment for his time! Would happily use again if we lived locally and recommend to others!
