Beautiful medieval church steeped in history and legend π with what appears to be a pirate grave in the adjoining cemetery, the surrounding grave stones are dated around 1700, 1720,well worth a look
Beautiful church with loads of history inside this church . Also lot of local family history in the births marriages and deaths books on display ,(a great help.). all surrounded in a tranquil setting
Well worth a visit - Danelaw sculpture and an impressive Charles II pair of marble effigies with funeral helm and gauntlets above. Really beautiful honey-coloured stone in a quiet site.
An historic church in beautiful tranqil setting
Lovely clear Anglo saxon links eg oval graveyard, saxon Cross. Also significant memorials and links Duke and Duchess of Northumberland. No longer operating under C of E, but Conservation Trust.
