I had a very unfortunate experience with Fuel Doctor. I accidentally misfueled my car and decided to use their service. They charged me £180 for draining the existing fuel and replacing it with the correct one. However, the problems began when they attempted to start the car after draining the fuel. It wouldn't start, and the technician mentioned that he needed to clean the spark plug. To my dismay, he seemed unsure of how to do this and ultimately declared that he couldn't proceed. He advised me to take the vehicle to the nearest garage. When I had my car towed to the nearest garage, I was shocked to learn that the Fuel Doctor technician had not drained completely the misfuel from my car. The garage had to drain everything again, clean the spark plug, and resolve the issue. I ended up paying the garage for their services as well. Based on my experience, I strongly advise against using the services of Fuel Doctor. Instead, I recommend going directly to the nearest garage to address your misfuelling issue. This way, you can avoid wasting your money on Fuel Doctor's services and paying again for a more reliable solution.

I made a silly mistake put petrol into my diesel tank. Drive home after one hour went to go out car would not start. I knew straight away what I had done. Googled fuel dr he came out the process took 10 mins from him getting there to draining out the fuel. Putting in a special solution then diesel. I paid him and he went. He was a lovely polite man. So was the lady who first took my call and details. Quick service would have cost me a fortune to have it towed to the garage and seen too. Well done Fuel Dr you did an amazing job.

Worst service. We called fuel doctor after a misfuel incident. Technician came the next day, said he cleaned the tank which cost me £ 160 and did fuel again (another 20£) and tried to start engine. It wasn't working and he said he can't fix and to go to garage. After reaching garage we came to know the fuel wasn't cleaned properly. The was much more diesel left to clean. And it had cost me again to fully clean the tank and refuel. I reported to customer care service and even mailed the CEO (Peter) for the compensation for the damage , time and cost we had to bear. He is not even responding to the mail. We called multiple times to follow up. He said he will look into it but no updates yet. We can expect this behavior from employees but such irresponsibility from a CEO level cannot be justified.

So disappointed with this company, called them to get a vehicle sorted that had incorrect fuel put in, was made promise after promise of them arriving on Sunday in around 2 hours, more like 2 days! The service was absolutely shocking, they promised to come out time and time again however it took the owner to give me a call to say he would look into it, I wasn't happy paying what they quoted me and although I was told somebody would call me to sort out I was only given a £20 discount!? A £20 discount for 2 days worth of messing about, the amount of time effort and energy I spent on these guys to try and give them every opportunity to sort out what they started out to do was silly. If you really valued your customers, you'd have not charged me for the abysmal 'service' I had the misfortune of experiencing. £20 off was a joke, and if you valued £20 over what my experience was, I wish you would've just taken full payment! On top of that their technician was quite rude and had an attitude problem, if you don't like working for the company then find another job otherwise stop moaning, be polite and tell your customers the truth and trust me your job will be easier. If your reading this I wouldn't use this company, not only has the owner not come back to me to apologise and offer proper compensation the company took 2 days to sort the problem where as they state they try to come out nationwide in 1 hour. If you value your time and need it sorting quickly, the cheapest isn't always the best. Find another alternative company and put your money in their pocket. I won't use this company ever again and have told the garage the technician handed his business card to about the shoddy service, let's just say they won't be calling fuel doctor if their customers mis fuel. Good day. Just to add to the franchisees reply below as there's no other way of replying. So basically what your saying is, it's not your problem so stop hassling your business page, guess what, it wasn't my problem the 101 excuses the company gave me when they promised to come out to a simple bread and butter type job. I understand you may not be the franchisee in Bham, it's not easy to find the Google link for the franchisee in Bham, the MD Peter I spoke to told me he owned the whole company and he seemed to be from your neck of the woods so I assumed this was the companies main page. Perhaps the Google pages for Fuel Doctor need updating by the company as a whole to reflect the areas they operate in, take this up with the owner of the business, as a franchisee you can give them this feedback if you feel it's unfair on your business and maybe ask the Bham Franchisee to reply to this review. You operate under the banner of Fuel Doctor, I feel I was wronged by the company, whichever franchise it came from, and with no reply from the owner himself to make things right I had no alternative to put on here what my poor experience of the company was. I simply can not believe your company left my vehicle for 2 days before they attended, after I'd made my way to the vehicle multiple times to meet the technician who lied many times and didn't show. After all that, I was told to pay £140 by the technician with zero apologies from him or the MD Pete.

It's ok if you are stupid and put the wrong fuel in They literally siphon the tank and charge you £130 for the privilege. I've edited this review to 5 stars, as it was completely my fault I misfuelled and whilst its a very expensive service for what you get. I've removed the reduction in stars from 3 to 5 as the service provided at the time was good, speedy and got me out of the mess I put myself into.
