I love this cafe, the food is exceptionally good and the staff are amazing, the downside is, the queuing everytime we go. I know of a group who meet up there once a week, they arrive at 10, have a light breakfast then sit until 2 then have their lunch, in all they must sit for approximately 5hrs. I was told by a member of staff this happens often that is why there is constant queuing. Maybe a limit on how long you can occupy a table should be enforced to stop this and to stop people from walking away knowing they will be waiting a long time for a table as we have done many times.

Great place, it was good when it was Deans, but now it's part of the Yorkshire Garden Centres, they seem to have more offers. The staff are really helpful and friendly and they're range of products is different but appears wider. A real treat to visit here, especially with the 'Bothy', a gem of an eating place. What's not to like??

Love this garden centre. I often forget we have it in York but love it when I remember it's here! Great for all things garden, from furniture, ornaments and a good selection of plants. I must also add the impressive cacti selection. A much better range than other garden centers! The cafe is also excellent and good is great quality. Plenty of parking as well.

A lovely garden centre and wonderful restaurant. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and extra stars, if possible, for the gluten free lemon meringue pie, my absolute favourite. If I am this way again I will certainly be returning.
