Didn't get a chance to spend much time here. Some beautiful stained glass and a tapestry which is covered for protection from sunlight. Like many churches new sections have been added or rebuilt but you can see quite plainly where the oldest part is. The older cemetery is a short distance away, maybe a 5 to 10 minute walk from church.

I wouldn’t even give x1 star. Wow! I was baptised CoE. But how unwelcome did I feel. I’m not a natural church goers but I need support. Not a person talked to me. No one made me feel welcomed. As christens, everyone should be ashamed of how I felt leaving the church. I have been elsewhere where I have been welcomed and loved. Shame on you all

On the 1st Saturday of the month, At Peter & St Paul's Church host a Coffee Morning. Please give it a try as the Cakes are beautiful, plus you get a free re-fill on Cups of Coffee. It's nice and relaxing there, plus you are supporting the local Church. The Farmer's Market is held in the Market Place on the same Saturday (1st) each month. We travel down from Newcastle just for the Farmer's Market and Coffee Morning at the Church.

Lovely accoustics though take a cushion ad the pews are hard. Only one toilet for a venue this large!
