What a superb pub. Friendly. Lovely atmosphere. Great beers. Conversation with the brewer at Captain Cook's Brewery and some fantastic beer recommendations to boot. Absolutely brilliant. Cannot sing this places praises enough. Apparently they have live music on an evening too. If I could give it 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I absolutely would. One of the best pubs I have been in in recent years, if not ever. I can't wait to go back and try some more great beers and have some more craic. Been in several times since the new initial review and the place is always friendly and has a great rotation of ales.
Proper pub and my wife’s family local for 30+ years. Fantastic selection of Captain Cooks Ales and other beers. No food - just crisps and nuts the way a proper pub should be ;)
Great pub in Stokesly went there because its in n.v the good beer guide and you can see why good range of beers. Dogs welcome and they have live music at night. Doesnt do food but there are loads of places around. Higjly recommend a visit for a pint or more.
Traditional pub, been coming here since I was a wee child, helping my dearly departed grandmother clean the establishment back in the late 90's and not a lot has changed since then bar the outdoor seating arrangement. Lovely place & lovely vibes. Nostalgic for me 😊
Lovely traditional pub with a great selection of beers. Friendly staff. We sat out in the beer garden & enjoyed a couple of pints in the sun.
