Impromptu visit on NYE & what a find! Food - the best Indian/Bengal I’ve had. 100%. Good value for money, too. Service - staff were on it, attention to detail, giving you time to review menu but noticing when your drink was nearly empty and offering another. Checking in, but noticing overbearing. If we lived locally we’d defo be back!

I live locally and frustrated that there are no decent Indian restaurants in the area, then this place opened in Stokesley. After visiting here 2 weeks ago for a sit down and being impressed I thought I'd try a takeaway to support a new business venture. I bought 3 curry dishes. 2 rices and 2 naan breads. It amounted to around £55, which I thought was pricey. It got worse when I got home. Wife and son were hugely disappointed. Bland curry. My jalfrezi sauce was tasteless apart from the ocassional green chilli that spiced up the taste. They obviously make a base sauce then poorly tailor to whats been ordered. Tbf the breads were nice as was the rice. There might have been a change of chef Nonetheless, the family consensus was a massive thumbs down, especially given the prices. Often new enterprises set high standards initially then they drop when reviews are strong. I will not return untill I hear that standards have increased significantly and consistently, and prices more realistic. Such a shame. Now back to square 1 making my own curries using ingredients from Kashmire's.

I was reluctant to visit due to the previous 1 star reviews.. however following my visit to the restaurant and ordering a takeaway I can only disagree with these reviews. We had a perfectly well cooked and tasty chicken tikka main and well spiced and tasty lamb madras with keema pilau rice and naan bread. I will definitely be revisiting 👌🏻

Visited here with three other couples. I ordered a sag aloo without onions as my main. Imagine my shock when my sag aloo arrived garnished with chives and full of onions. When I pointed this out, the waiter stated he didn't hear me. I don't believe this. No apology. Nothing. The staff and service are outstanding in Redcar, they need to follow suit. Very disappointed.
