Went for Sunday dinner and the food itself was absolutely lovely. The night before, we spoke with Jess, the manageress, who advised us to “preorder the meats” as they usually sell out quickly. We didn’t realise this was considered a full preorder, just a suggestion to reserve our meat choices. When we arrived, we sat down, ordered drinks, and before we’d even had a sip, our food was already brought to the table. We weren’t asked if we wanted starters, sides, or even if we were ready for our meals. Having worked in hospitality for over 10 years, this felt unusual. Even with preorders, we always checked whether guests wanted extras or if they were ready before sending anything through to the kitchen. The staff were okay, but we didn’t really feel like we received much service or interaction. On top of that, they had run out of red cabbage even though the meal was supposedly preordered which was a bit frustrating since you’d expect everything to be available when a preorder is in place. Overall, the food was amazing, so no complaints there. It just seemed like there was a miscommunication between the manageress and the restaurant staff regarding our order and what was expected. With a bit more attention to service and communication, the experience could have matched the quality of the food.
We called in for lunch and had a lovely meal as it was a warm day we sat inside and we're offered some iced water to revive ourselves while perusing the menu .. We enjoyed meatballs , brusheta and the best cheese souffle served with a large pot of tea . The staff we're lovely and we will definitely return.
Lovely meal, surprised to have 2-4-1 deal on pizza on a Sunday night. Makes it a cheap evening. Traditional, thin Italian sourdough pizza were absolutely delicious.
We really love this place fantastic food served piping hot, exceptionally tasty and lovely atmosphere
Myself and my fiancée visited this restaurant and was absolutely blown away. The food was amazing. Some of the best mussels we’ve ever had for a starter. I had the pizza she had the pork belly and the pork was insanely tender. The pizza was amazing to! Such a great restaurant!
