Would give zero stars if I could. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, however at this point this feels like the only thing we can do to try and get a resolution. The garage initially had our vehicle for over 8 weeks, there were consistent excuses when it came to the length of time to repair the car, once diagnosed. Initial repair quoted at £1000, we said to proceed. Heard nothing about the repair, rang to be told the car then actually needed a new engine. Repair went up to £2000 but work had already started, so we would have been out numerous hours of labour and had a car with no engine in. Once repair and MOT completed, total went up to over £2500. Upon return, the car still doesn’t work correctly, battery light on, barely has enough power to get up a slight incline, and the headlights flicker - the car is completely undriveable. We returned the car to the garage, who have now had the car for a further 10 days before even looking at it, only to be told “maybe next week” with no actual resolution to what is wrong. Terrible communication, never called us with updates, we have always had to ring them. Owner was meant to call today and has not. Not having the vehicle is stopping us booking Christmas travel to see family in Ireland. The car was not particularly worth the repair at what it has ended up costing us but now we are in a position that the money has been paid, and we still can’t trust this car will come back to us in any working order. Not sure how this garage operates, but we’ve had nothing but terrible service.

My experiences at this garage are nothing but 100%positve. The staff are always polite, courteous and extremely.helpful no matter how large or small the issue, taking time to explain everything in layman terms. The pricing is extremely.fair. As a result we take 4 family.member cars there, secure in the knowledge thast we will not be disappointed. Many thanks to everyone in the team

As a woman with zero car knowledge, I'm always a little dubious about being misled when booking my car in for repair, MOT or servicing. I've had very unpleasant experiences from dealership workshops, that's the very reason my car only goes to Tim Brown's. This garage is a family business, I've received a consistently professional service. Highly recommended.

If I could give 6 stars, I would! Helped my family out massively last week, fixing an issue with our camper van that got our holiday back on track! Great friendly service, great price. Would definitely recommend.

Used the garage for the first time, never again! I was quoted a price for 2 tyres but they failed to mention the price quoted did not include VAT and fitting? The parking outside is non existent and cars have to be abandoned on the street outside. The reception area was chaotic but it was closing time as the garage kept my car from 9.30am in the morning until 5pm to simply fit 2 tyres.
