Called in today as I passed through. Lovely quirky cafe with excellent food and a warm welcome. Worth going out of your way for.
Called in today passing through the village Made to feel like you shouldn’t be there instantly!! One of those places if you don’t live there you shouldn’t go in.. Very stressed staff, unprofessional & obnoxious & rude.(wasn’t even busy) There is no need it’s us customers that keep you in your job….what happened to service with a smile.. clearly don’t take on board previous customers feedback about the above.. Maybe a course in customer service should be taken ? £7 for 2 slices of bread and a bit of fatty ham, wrapped in cellophane🤯 (see picture) Lovely coffee cake but poor coffee Won’t be returning
A delightful little tea room in Summerbridge Nr Pately Bridge. Clean , polite and efficient service , limited choice of meals but ever so tasty , so good as to want to return often. Bedrooms small but clean and cosy and peaceful and ensuite fine. : the hostess cares for her customers
This is the 3rd time (we have stayed) only this time it was Winter. On arrival we were given free coffee and home made delicious scones. The room is comfortably, onsuite with generous parking. I am a Cancer patient so I feel the cold somewhat more than others and in that respect I would have preferred it a tad warmer. Notwithstanding that Judith (the proprietor) has a heart of gold and nothing is too much trouble. The included breakfasts are wide ranging from cereal to full English with extra toast (if required). Upon leaving Judith handed us 2 homemade scones for the journey. A very positive and pleasant stay.
Myself and my mum brought my husband for lunch, after nit visiting for a few years (we used to come with my dad), the food was nice and staff pleasant. There is a small car park and seems to be a bit of on road parking. Would definitely come Back again.
