Great museum with a great cafe. Visited the site multiple times. There have been some improvements over the years, which is great to see. Some parts of the collection are still dry text. It's just a shame to see some aircraft suffering from the Yorkshire weather. I see some reviews stating there is a Lancaster bomber, but it's an even more rare Shackleton bomber

Fun afternoon out. Enough to keep both adults and kids entertained. Outside areas are clean and nicely presented. Some displays in the indoor hangars are looking a bit tired. Staff are approachable and knowledgeable. Enthusiasts can dig a bit deeper with information about the squadrons, while kids will enjoy being able to sit inside some cockpits and aircraft. The place is easy to get to, with ample car parking. Reasonable pricing, based on being able to return again for one full year. There are lots of events throughout the year, so the ticket price could offer great value for money.

Amazing displays of the Halifax and Victor aircrafts! It’s fascinating to compare the Spitfire and Messerschmitt, along with other planes from both World War I and World War II. The original playground is a nice touch, and there are many other interesting exhibits to explore. A great place to visit for anyone interested in aviation history! P.S. it would be nice to have audioguide/guide as the option

A great museum to visit for all of the family. There is a variety of aircraft outside and in the hangars to look at. There are also numerous displays and aircraft buildings to explore. Young children are also catered for with various play areas. The history of the place and in depth information of each aircraft is covered. It is a great place for photography and video. The cafe is well stocked and is a relaxing environment. The staff were all very helpful and knowledgeable. There is also a gift shop available. Highly recommended to all.
