The Swan Caravan and Camping Site

Great peaceful farm type, campsite lots of mostly level well kept large pitches with EHU. TV reception was good and there's a great pub just up the road. The toilet facilities were good and kept very clean. There's a wash up area and a washing machine too. The owner was an absolute joy and couldn't have been more helpful or friendlier. We'll definitely be going back just a shame it's not open all year so we could visit more often as the season ends at the end of October. So much to see and do around this area especially if you're into walking or cycling. Really worth staying a while and exploring, you won't be disappointed

Nice quiet farm campsite in rural surroundings, with a pub in walking distance. Very friendly owner.

Lovely campsite with really friendly owners. We stayed for 4 nights, nice and quiet, clean and spacious. Not too big, flat pitches with no stones. There were lovely views and there is plenty to do in the area. There were swings and a slide for the children to play on. We had an issue with our electric cable from home, and the owner couldn't have been more helpful, finding one of his own for us to use. We'll definitely visit again.

Probably one of the best sites I stayed on, during my cycle tour of Yorkshire , Teesdale and Westmoreland, friendly and relaxation in abundance on this well manicured site, toilet block clean with lovely "HOT" showers. Great area for cycling and walking with numerous attractions close by, thanks for making me so welcome Jane
